How can we strive to be inclusive, creative, and impactful?
Despite continual cuts to arts education in schools and the shrinking of available government funding for artists and arts organizations, art is being made all around us. How can we move towards a more inclusive definition of culture in the twenty-first century? How can the cultural community better communicate the impact we have on society at large? And what does a modern cultural city look like?
On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the Cultural City Forum provided a platform for community members already engaged in expanding our definition of culture as they address the future of arts and culture in Dallas.
