The Physical City Forum
The Physical City Forum took place on November 15, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Dallas Center for Architecture. In partnership with the David Dillon Center for Texas Architecture at UT-Arlington, this Community Forum deepened our understanding of how the city was built in ways that have kept groups separate by race and income, and sought ideas to create spaces that bring people together.
The forum panel included:
Rev. Gerald Britt, Vice President of External Affairs at CitySquare
Kate Holliday, founding director of the David Dillon Center for Texas Architecture at UT Arlington
Michael Lindenberger, member of the Editorial Board of The Dallas Morning News
Lizzie MacWillie, Senior Design Manager at buildingcommunityWORKSHOP
Miguel Solis, President of the Latino Center for Leadership Development
Robert Wilonsky, city columnist of The Dallas Morning News
Coverage: “Dallas panel ponders how city’s building led to racial and economic divides and what to do about it.”
